Lecture Series

QMB students organize and host a regular lecture series featuring external speakers on QMB-relevant topics. Each lecture is complemented by a journal club with the invited speaker.
Every QMB student is expected to host at least one speaker during their PhD and to attend at least twenty lecture series events.

Soft Skill Courses

Effective communication is essential for scientific impact. QMB therefore offers courses in scientific writing, presentation skills, and good scientific practice.

QMB Retreat

The annual QMB retreat brings all QMB students together in an informal scientific setting to present their research through short talks and posters and to engage with invited speakers.
