Introduction to R

R is widely used in the field of biostatistics, expecially DESeq analysis and therefore the community provides a great amount of free tools in the BioConductor repository. Python scripts can easly be read and ran in R and the pipe operator is a nice feature. Thus, although the syntax is sometimes a bit clumpsy compared to Matlab or Python, it is still worth to learn.
